Hard to believe it’s already August. There are a bunch of fun and meaningful holidays this month, but let’s be real—today is one of my favorites...

August is actually loaded with cool days to bring people together, spread a little kindness, or just reflect. Here are a few others we think are worth a shout-out:
- August 7: Purple Heart Day – Honoring those who served and sacrificed.
- August 8: International Cat Day – Cat videos totally allowed.
- August 13: International Left-Handers Day – Lefties, this one’s for you!
- August 21: National Senior Citizens Day – Give a little extra thanks to those with stories worth hearing.
- August 26: Dog Appreciation Day – Furry friends get some well-earned love!
